How To Promote Your Video

Viral videos can only be successful if people like them enough to promote them, hence the concept of it being a "Viral Video". Just uploading a video to a site such as Revver.com will not be enough for your video to reach its full potential, your video needs to be seen in as many places as possible. Here are a few sites and other methodes you can use to get your video seen by as many people as possible:

1. Add your videos or links to them on your blog. Revver has a few ways you can do this including; widgets, thumbnails, text links and embeding the entire video into a blog post. You can even create a blog or website dedcated entirely to you videos. If you iclude te address of your site on each of your videos it should help increase traffic to your site.

2. Submit your video to one of the many online review communities such as Popcurrent, Videobomb, or Infectious Videos. These sites are online communities for people who like to rate and review videos, books and pictures. The more popular your video is the more stars/points it will get. As the number of stars/points increases your video will move up the rankings and will be seen by more people. just sign up for an account and away you go!

3. Email your frieds and let them now about your videos. You cold include a link to either the video itself, your blog, or the place it appear on Infectious Videos / Videobomb etc...

Hope this helps you out. I will be addig mor ideas as I find them.

What are 'Viral Videos'?

"The term viral video refers to video clip content which gains widespread popularity through the process of Internet sharing, typically through email or IM messages, blogs and other media sharing websites. Viral videos are often humorous in nature and may range from televised comedy sketches such as Saturday Night Live's Lazy Sunday to unintentionally released amateur video clips like Star Wars kid. While the viral video phenomenon has occurred in a largely unstructured manner, a number of organizations are attempting to find marketing strategies that rely on the distribution of viral video, with mixed results."

The site I choose to share my videos through is revver.com because it allowes me to make money through the advertising they place at the end of each video. As long as the Revver tag is left on the video it still earns money even when shared through the methodes mentioned above, as long as it is not uploaded to a site such as youtube or goole video. So please don't upload our videos to these or simmilar sites. This will help support us in making many more videos.
